Working with individuals, families and teams for wellbeing, economic, social and environmental resilience.....
Times have been tough for everyone. We have all realised the value of our personal resilience skills, our family resilience skills and our team resilience skills, to not only survive, but thrive.
Our ability to bounce back from change, not worry - but plan for an uncertain future and adapt our personalities and behaviours to protect our own wellbeing and those around us, has leapt up our priority list!
Here at Halkyn Castle Wood we have collectively put all of our skills and experience into diversifying our business for all of the reasons above, and to help other individuals, families and teams (businesses) to adapt and reach their potential.
We have built up a wonderful tribe of families. All families have a child or children who have a disability, including autism, ADHD and those with mental health concerns and/ or anxiety. Some families we have worked with through parent sessions and some through family sessions. Here is a link to our partner agencies and organisations that support families in Flintshire
We have worked with agencies, businesses and colleges to bring remote teams, home workers and post-lockdown teams together in our woods. We have facilitated mental health and wellbeing activities, bushcraft, vision board, strategies, personal wellbeing toolkits and communication skills.
Campfire Cymru provide excellent, accredited Forest School Leader, Coast School Leader, Outdoor and Play Practitioner Training and a variety of Continuous Professional Development CPD courses here at Halkyn Castle Wood. We also host other training such as Outdoor First Aid and Food Hygiene
We have designed wellbeing, cross curricular, forest school and climate awareness activities, challenges and days both in our woods and on school grounds. Designed and developed curriculum linked resources for museums, agencies, organisations and charities.
