Wet Week for Woodland Wellbeing
Full on fun week in the woods. I’ve run out of outdoor clothes, tea towels and socks - theme of the week, mud, mud and more mud.
We’ve just finished delivering the fifth and final Outdoor Skills and Wellbeing CPD course (Continuing Professional Development) of the year. What a fabulous bunch of professional people eager and creative and wonderful fun to share our twenty years of experience with. I am really looking forward to seeing the outdoor learning developing in their settings, the children and staff will benefit so much from playing and learning outside. Huge thanks for Flintshire County Council for funding the course.
I’ve also been assisting the lovely Becks with the Forest School Leader training and our fab team have been busy with parent and forest family sessions.
We’re planning monthly CPD courses for teachers, youth workers, scout/ guide leaders, forest school leaders and TA’s covering all sorts of skills in the outdoors, watch this space :-)
Oh and the sun came out today, so after being in the woods in the rain all week I've got the ultimate finale for the week..... a walk to the pub tonight!
Happy weekend everyone, get out and enjoy some trees ;-)
